Kate received her training from Rubber Soul Adventure Club in Athens Georgia, which includes Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Plant-Based Nutrition, and the ethics of Ahimsa. Kate is interested in wellness as one ages, the wonder of the body, believing in oneself, and letting go of cultural scripts that take one further away from standing in his/her own truth. Maybe even most of all, being able to laugh with oneself and others as we trip along in this crazy world.
Nancy Bie was born and raised in Carlisle, PA. After serving more than 35 years as a civilian employee at Carlisle Barracks, Nancy retired. Her goal after retirement was to become a yoga teacher. This was inspired through the many wonderful yoga teachers she encountered during her 20 years of practice. She wanted to learn to teach and pass her passion on to others. In 2016 this opportunity became available to her through Yoga at Simply Well. She graduated from the Pranakriya School of Healing Arts in 2017 with a 200 hour RYT. “Pranakriya Yoga Teacher Training has changed my life in a positive way, and I am grateful for the deeper knowledge of yoga and the opportunities to pass it on to others.” She is currently working at Gold’s Gym where she teaches a Gentle and a Chair yoga class. She is thankful for the positive impact her teaching has had on her students. In addition to yoga, Nancy enjoys cooking, gardening, reading and training with her dogs, Grady and Willie.
Meet Carole Posavec:
I have lived in the Carlisle area for 30 years and am a retired educator from South Middleton School District. In my spare time I enjoy reading, sewing, traveling with my husband and friends, as well as instructing group fitness classes. I became a certified instructor in 2006 with Dr. Paul Lam's Tai Chi for Health Institute: Tai Chi for Arthritis and have been teaching this modified Sun style Tai Chi since that time. Instructing Tai Chi class is very rewarding and I have met many interesting participants throughout the years.
